No one else at the breakfast table shared my surprise.

It was barely 9 am and moving men were moving through the house with Logan’s belongings but no one was asking any questions. In fact, they all seemed oddly quiet as they chomped down their meal like this was a usual occurrence.

Blake and Alex were particularly getting on my nerves because they’d been giving me weird looks since last night while we drove home after another near death experience, and they were still giving me the same odd looks.

I’d concluded that they were hiding something from me and some part of me wondered if they’d learned of my recent involvement with Logan and were actively judging me for it. Just as that thought registered, Logan joined us at the table and all three men exchanged odd glances that made my heart drop to my stomach.
