40: You don't feed directly from people

The burns always start from my neck, and as usual, I’m fighting the urge not to tear my tie and collar off to itch it while I walk towards my office.

It's already been an hour since I’ve been out in the sun and my entire body feels like it’s burning up.

Pissed at the damn curse, I hurriedly make my way into my office and slam the door behind me. Ashley must've sent someone to prep the room because it’s completely dark upon my entrance as I slump into the first chair I can find.
