CHAPTER THIRTY

8:30pm.

Claire was almost done in the kitchen, preparing their dinner.

She had earlier called to check on things at the bar. She called Brody's phone, because she wasn't sure if he was able to get Zoey back to the bar to assist him.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

There was no answer.

Ring! Ring! Ri-

"Hello Boss!!" It was Zoey.

It was noisy at the bar now, so she was almost screaming so Claire could hear her.

"Oh...Zoey" Claire exclaimed, grateful.

"You came!"

"Ofcourse boss! It is a weekend! Lots of tips! And loads of attention...all to myself!!, since ya not in today!!" Zoey laughed. Seems she was having fun.

Claire laughed too...

"Thank you Zoey... I owe you"

"Yes you do Boss....I may be enjoying the extra time, but you still need to pay me!!"

"Yes..of course Zoey! " Claire replied, laughing.

"But, why are you answering Brody's phone?"

"Oh.. the big guy is quite busy at the moment!!" Zoey explained.

"Oh..alright. it's full house tonight..yes?"

"Yes Boss!!"

"And everyone's going crazy!! Hence
