Angelo 

I stood steady and slid the knife underneath the scarf and ripped it . Cleo was in freeze mode and the last thing I wanted to do was scare her .

Juan was working with my father and I didn't want him listening in on my conversations with Cleo . The scarf Cleo was wearing , was bugged . I knew it because my father had given me a similar one as a gift for Christmas and I had Carl scan it for safety sake and it had a tracker and a small microphone hidden in the embroidery .

I opened the window to throw it out not letting go of Cleo I retracted my blade from the pocket knife and put it back in my pocket. Cleo was about to scream when I kissed her muffling the sound . I kissed her hard at first ; then went soft . She kissed me back wrapping her legs around my waist . When I held her close and hugged her she hugged me back . All I could do was cry on her shoulder .

" I am so sorry babe."
