Her nightmares

Dino spun the girl around when he caught her and saw that it wasn’t the girl he was looking for.

Fuck!

He groaned.

He pulled out his phone when it beeped through his pocket. Likewise, he runs his fingers through his hair. Packed for a while before he answered the call.

“Any news Dino? Do you have her?”

“We lost her, I’m sorry, Boss.” His lips quivered a little.

“You must find her and bring her to me, else consider yourself dead Dino!” That was final, he said it and he meant it.

“I’ll find her, I promise.”

“Don’t make any mistake.” The call ends because he could reply.

He pulled the phone away from his ear, tucking them back in his pocket. He had to find her, and he must find her.

Eve opened the note her brother left for her, the last thing he’s got to tell her, the paper he squeezed into her hands.

She was curious, what does it have to say?

While the car moved, her eyes were on the note, and she read through the short note wishing he wrote something longer, wishing they had a little more time together.

“MOTHER IS ALIVE.”

That was all the note said. She smiled out of tears, there was the hope of meeting her mother, after fourteen years. Wiping the tears off, she smiled sadly. She was getting married to a stranger billionaire, and her mother was alive.

“By the way…” he turned to her side and throw a glance her way.

“What’s your name?”

“Eve…”

“Let’s get married, Eve.”

“You’ve got a guest...” a guard came hurriedly to meet the car immediately he drove into the magnificent mansion.

Eve's jaw dropped to the ground, she’d never seen a house so beautifully and spacious as this. He wasn’t lying!

Fuck!

She didn’t know if she should be happy or scared of him. Two feelings were in equilibrium.

The door of the car opened and he stepped out of it.

“Who is the guest?” He asked with his brow knitted together. He wasn’t in the mood of having any guests.

“Why did you let him in?”

“It’s Dust.” The guard bowed, staring at Wesley's shoes, which he had to lend him. Before he continued. “...it’s Dust, I couldn’t send him and he insisted on waiting for you.”

Wesley sighed and waved him off. The guard scurried away from sight.

Eve's eyes were still on the house, she couldn’t believe she would be staying in this mansion.

‘Enjoy it while you can

The silly thoughts from her subconscious.

“This is one of my mansions.”

He should brag about it, he had a bragging right.

“Let’s go in.”

His guffaws' and laughter when he spotted Wesley, he was coming down from the upper room. His waves of laughter filled the entire house.

The man before him was dangerous.

His eyes were dim and small and his lips were black from his excess smoking. He was around 5ft tall.

“You’re home...” Dust said, but his eyes weren’t on Wesley but Eve. She tightened her hand on the cloth she wore. He was giving her lustful stares.

“What’s this? Don’t tell me you went to tenderloin Wesley.” He clucks his tongue.

“Too late, he’s already dead.” He laughed.

He was probably talking about Carlo, the man he wanted to meet at tenderloin and couldn’t meet with up. The contract he’d to sign with Carlo was gone.

The sly smile on his lips and he ran his tongue over them and turned to Eve again.

“Who is she?”

“What do you want Dust?” He growled. He was trying so much to suppress his anger. He didn’t want to start a fight with Dust yet.

She shuddered a bit when she felt his eyes on her.

“She’s Pretty, another of your whores?” He laughed his laugh which she found disgusting but quite familiar.

Cold shivers ran down her spine, each time he laughed. She couldn’t conceal it anymore. She needs to leave his presence.

Her hands were shaky and her breath was heavy, she couldn’t breathe. Her hands went to her neck. She was hyperventilating. Her eyes were getting teary and her nails were digging into her flesh.

Damn!

She couldn’t breathe.

“What’s wrong with her?” Dust asked with a bit of concern in his voice, he liked her and it was evident he wanted her.

He tried to touch her. But Wesley came in and stopped him, taking her shaky hands in his.

“She’s unwell...” He answered.

“Jacky, take her upstairs.” His gaze didn’t leave Dust's face. And he couldn’t hide how angry he looked.

Jacky took her away from there. He opened the door to a room and she ran in. Running towards the bathroom door.

“It’s locked...”

He walked ahead of her and opened the door for her, and shut the door hard against the wall.

She tore the turtle neck shirt off her body. Pull off the jeans and turn on the shower, her hands looking for something. She saw a blade and took them.

Gives herself a cut and watches herself bleed as she slowly slides to the ground crying.

***

“Bring her to me, bring the girl!” He laughed as Eve was being dragged to him.

“No, not my daughter..”

“I say bring the little girl! He yelled and slaps her mother's hand off her.

“No, you can’t have her.”

“Mom, Dad help!”

***

Eve squeezes herself, into a tight corner of the bathroom. And she gasps for breath.

She was wet from the water running down from the shower. And it was a bit relieved to her, but it didn’t work much. She reached out for the blade again.

Crying as she holds it.

It was the same voice, the same laughter. It was that same man that had hurt her and her family, she was certain, the people that hurt her were here.
