Epilogue

“Her water broke, so we were at the hospital.” Wesley panicked over the phone. He had been pacing in front of the room she was taken in. He didn’t know how long it was gonna be.

“Calm down, I’m gonna be there soon,” Vero replied over the phone.

“I’m trying to, I just can’t. It’s been hours in there.” His hands went over to the wall and placed them on it. He didn’t know how long but he knew he had been outside the door long enough.

“You just have to calm down and everything would be fine.” How could he calm down when he could hear her painful grunts from the room?

“I’ll be there soon. Don’t worry it takes a lot of time since it’s her first. I had a similar experience when I had you.” She was trying to soothe him but none of that was working.

He couldn’t get away from the anxiety he was feeling.

“I’ll be waiting.” He wished he won’t have to do with the sound.

He ruffled his hair and kept his phone back in his pocket. He faced the wall again and then moved over to have his seat.
