By the time Avery got back to the villa it was already dark that she was pretty sure Lucien must be in the room which was why she didn't bother to meet him and just went straight ahead inside the room and to the extent of telling her maid she wants to be alone for a while.

After freshening up, she tied a towel around her chest while staring weirdly at herself through the mirror. The spirit of loneliness was drawing her more and closer and she wouldn't be able to get herself out of the mess.

As she looked into her reflection, she raised her hand to gently stroke her cheeks not without thinking “I must have been stupid to think he'll feel guilty.” She thought silently while she bit her lips like a hungry dog.

Her fingers tremble slightly as she continues to fix her gaze on the mirror. She couldn't help but be afraid of what was making her tremble in fear.
