Chapter Twenty-Eight: Hector
The next morning, Rex knocks on Hector and Ruby’s door.
Hector gets up and opens the door.
“Morning Hector, I want you down in the kitchen in ten minutes and have Ruby be there as well.”
“Yes, sir.”
Rex walks away. Hector wakes Ruby up.
“We have to be downstairs in ten.”
“For vampires they sure don’t know how to sleep during the day,” groans Ruby.
“Yeah, I know. Thanks for the company last night.”
“Don’t mention it.”
They both dress and head down to the kitchen.
