Raven As we got near the western border I could see the rogues. Ok so there weren’t hoards of rogues flowing over the border but there were probably thirty to forty running around. I knew Emerald was here somewhere. As soon as she disappeared as she did, I knew something was up. I know she is perfectly capable of protecting herself, but I have to agree with Devon and Nate on the fact she is pregnant. There is more at stake than just her. “Where the fuck is she” Raidon yells. “I don’t know,” I replied. I heard a monstrous growl and saw Helm fly by. He had already shifted and was making a beeline for someone. I watched to see where he was going, and that's when I saw Emerald. She was surrounded by at least ten rogues. None of them was getting within fifteen feet of her. I then saw the already three dead rogues on the ground. When I say dead, I mean in pieces, I could tell they wanted to attack, but they had obviously what happens when you get too close to the fire. Raid
Ryan Yesterday was not what I had in mind when I decided to visit the pack. We had pulled up when Renee ran out hysterically and told us what was happening. She told us which border, and we took off. I left a few guys at the packhouse, plus Nalena and Marcel were there, so I knew they would also keep the people there safe. I was not expecting to see so many rogues when we got there. I looked up to see Raven, and he had a huge smile on his face. I saw him look at something and followed his line of sight. Well, fuck, there was Emerald. Rogues had circled around her, but they kept their distance. I looked at the ground and saw three dead ones, and it now made sense why they were keeping their distance. “How is she?” Ian asked. “She still hasn’t really woken up,” Devon answered. They had just walked into Jason’s office and sat down. Devon had Emerald in his arms, handed her to Nate, and then sat down. With her head in Nate’s lap, Devon placed her feet and legs in his. I w
Nate It’s been two months since everything happened. We did interrogate the rogues that attacked us. None of us knew what we were going to find once we entered the cells containing the rogues. I am not sure what my princess did, but they were more than willing to talk. They didn’t look injured, so Ryan figured she scared the shit out of them. Devon and I had a talk with her later that same night. We didn’t want her down in the cells. The two of us realised that she was more than capable of protecting herself and our babies as she stood over Devon when he was unconscious. That doesn’t mean that we want her around that shit thought. “Your mother is insane,” Emerald announces. She plops her sexy little ass down on the bed and flops backwards. I laugh at her, which makes me grumble as she flips me off. I look up to see Devon enter the room at that moment. He smiles at her. Her little bump has gotten bigger. The babies are very active now. Emerald is almost five months alon
Scott This is not how I pictured my day going. I watch from the small cave I found as two of the pack warriors run by. When I came back here to help Ryder, I knew he was not telling me everything, but I had no idea that he was keeping this shit from me. I found out recently that Uncle Connor died because he had challenged a neighbouring alpha for his pack and was injured. The wound caused his death, so the other alpha took over the pack and land—most of the pack left since they were rogues, to begin with. I didn’t know that Ryder had been moving locations within his land and was telling everyone that he was alpha. The two of us had it out after I found out. He had no choice but to admit everything to me. I am still loyal to him. If we can get Emerald, then we can take over this pack. “Where have you been?” Ryder asked. “Stuck in a tiny ass little cave while avoiding the pack warriors,” I answered. I explained that I was out running in my wolf, and the guards caught my
Helm It has been a quiet three months. I don’t like it. When it is quiet for this long, it means that something bad is going to happen. A smile spreads across my face when I see Emerald walk through the living room. Over the last month, she has gotten bigger. Yvonnya says this could mean that she is getting close to having the babies. I am pretty sure she would be happy about this. I think she is done being pregnant. At least the weather has cooled down. I know that Devon and Nate like the fact that she has gotten bigger. This means that she doesn’t really go anywhere. Usually, when she does, Raven, Raidon, Cal, or Malachi go with her. Our cousin Xindi is due to show up today. I look outside when a loud clap of thunder is heard. “What time is Xindi going to be here?” Emerald whines. “Sometime this afternoon,” I replied. Emerald came over and sat down in a chair by me. I know she is bored being stuck inside. A storm rolled in overnight, and it was a big one. We ne
Emerald These two need to be born now. I have actually loved being pregnant. Up till now, it has been fine. This last month has been hell, though. I am having a hard time sleeping, and these two never seem to calm the fuck down. I find it funny that Devon and Nate calmed down with their overprotectiveness, but their son always seems to be rolling around in there. I am so fucking uncomfortable. Yvonnya thinks that these two could come any day. Which is in the time frame that everyone thought I would have them. I am eight months along and huge. I swear, sometimes I feel like there are more than two babies in there, but Dr Crighton has done several ultrasounds, and there are just the two boys. “I want these two out now!” I tell Devon. “Kitten, they will be here any day now. I know you are uncomfortable.” Devon says to me. “It wouldn’t be so bad if they would calm the hell down,” I whine. Devon kisses the top of my head, and we join everyone in the main room. Renee ask
Devon Nate and I had literally been here for three or four hours when dad shouted over our link that Emerald was in the hospital. Of course, I first thought that something had attacked the pack or someone, and she protected them. -Emerald is in labour. You two need to get your asses back here now-Dad -We are on the way-Me -How is she doing?-Nate -They just gave her an epidural, so she is better, but you two need to be here-Dad “Sorry Uncle Jackson,” I say. “No worries. Now let’s get you two back so you can be there when those boys are born.” Uncle Jackson states. The door to Uncle Jackson’s office slams open, and there stands Aunt Penelope. She yells at us to get out of here now and return to Emerald. None of us argues with her. Aiden, Gavin, Greg, Nate, and I take off running. Literally, we all shift and run back to the pack hospital. We are just outside where dad and Lance meet us with clothes to put on. We all shift back and pull the clothes on. Dad says that E
Nate This was not how I was expecting this day to turn out when we left for Uncle Jackson’s. I could tell Emerald was not feeling well, but she was also eight months pregnant. We had only been there a few hours when dad yelled at us through our link about Emerald going into labour. That shut all of us real quick. None of us knew what to do until Aunt Penelope slammed open the door and basically threw us out. “Well this was definitely not expected,” Devon says. “No, it wasn’t,” I said. The two of us are looking at our two newborn boys, and surprise, they are hiding a sweet little secret behind them. Those two kept a very big secret from us. They were hiding a sweet little girl. So our twins turned into triplets. “I knew there was something strange about their auras; I just couldn’t figure out what it was,” Rich exclaims. He had been saying for the last four months that their auras were strange but that he couldn’t tell us why. He made sure to tell us that it was nothi
