Well, that little meeting yesterday was quite unexpected. I can tell you that no one expected to learn what we did. Of course, everyone in the magic world had heard of the Meridian. I knew that my mother’s father had actually been there when he was younger. In fact, I know my mother had told both Jax and me that he was close with one of the king's sons. Mom had even told us that she had visited once when she was a very young child. I really wasn’t surprised when Emerald said that she had basically stumbled upon them during her travels.
