Last Promise

Kimberly spent three more days in prison, there was no disturbance from Francis or torture from the policemen. Anthonia, her new cellmate made sure to protect her from her previous cellmates. Kimberly thought of ways to contact Grandma Lee's lawyer. He was the only person she hoped for. If Grandma could trust him with her documents, he must be able to get her out of prison.

In the evening when the prisoners were in line for breakfast, Kimberly didn't go to get her food. She felt sick from what she ate for lunch. Anthonia stayed back with her.

"Ahhh." She cried painfully.

"What's wrong with you? Are you okay?."

"No I'm not okay, my stomach hurts." Kimberly cried.

"Here, drink water." Anthonia offered.

"No, that's not it. My stomach hurts so much."

Kimberly felt a warm wet liquid run through her thighs and she touched it. She was bleeding.

"My baby. I'm losing my baby." She cried out. Anthonia freaked out and she began to bang hard on the grate gate.

"Someone, we need help in here." Sh
