Emma was not surprised. Not even a little part of her liked her father and she knew he was not really a saint. He had done numerous things in his life which was why he had been removed from the line of succession of the family business. But rape? She thought of laughing, felt compelled to but could not muster it because something in her told her this was true. That Brandon's family could not be lying about her father. If they could device her for years then perhaps rape isn't that far fetched for them. But it still stung.

Brandon frowned. "How….when did this happen?"

"Before she gave birth to you. It was after that incident your father decided to hide away from the public. Her second miscarriage was because of the incident." His grandfather replied.

"But still, Emma looks nothing like her father."

"She does. Especially the eyes. While it may be warmer, she has exactly the same eyes as her father and she could pose as a copy for him only, she is female." Felix said to him.
