Chapter Seventy Four

As Demetrius's words echoed in the airport, confusion washed over me. How could he claim that I was pregnant with his child? I had only been intimate with Rueben, and I couldn't fathom how Demetrius could have any proof to support his claim.

"No, Demetrius, you're mistaken," I stammered, my voice filled with disbelief. "I haven't been with anyone else but Rueben. I'm carrying his child, not yours."
