So this was a sham so I won’t know my real worth, they knew I was worth more than what they made me believe.

“Why would no one tell you that? Didn’t you read about it or trained about that part?” Jade said to me but I didn’t know how to explain to Jade that I was trained to act like a rebel and didn’t bother to even read about the royal history.

I took a deep breath, trying to gather my thoughts. "Jade, I have to be honest with you. I was never trained or educated about royal history or my role as a future queen. I was raised to believe that I was nothing more than a rebel, someone who didn't belong in the palace."

Jade looked at me with surprise and concern. "That's terrible. They've been keeping you in the dark about your true worth and potential. But now that you know, Naomi, you have a choice to make.
