CHAPTER 15: Rogue

Silence filled our space for a while, and we both let it be, feeling quite comfortable with each other.

I didn’t expect I’d get this comfortable with a lycan, most especially a high ranking one. But with Sebastian’s light and welcoming presence, it wasn’t hard to let go of my walls.

Looking around the mansion, I realized how big and spacious it was, but it seemed like no one was around. And even with all the grandiosity of the place, the place looked cold.

“Does he stay here?” I cut the silence as we walked in the middle of the ballroom I passed by earlier.

Sebastian walked to the left corridor, and in there opened up another huge area where a long table and a few chairs surrounded it.

I guess I should have stayed with my first choice earlier.

“No, he’s got his own place,” he answered, gesturing for me to sit on the chair he pulled out for me.

I looked at the entire place, looking for Miranda, but she wasn’t there nor anyone. It was just us.
