Nathan’s POV

I was in my home office, I had an urgent meeting with the alpha of the crimson pack, we had to settle some pack matters.

I felt a pang in my chest, I arched an eyebrow when I heard her scream.

I turned to the guard who stood by. “Did you hear that?” I asked and he nodded negatively.
