Chapter 38

As I lay on the forest floor, my mind racing with fear and anger, I couldn't help but think about how much I despised Alpha Nathan. I had foolishly believed that he wanted to make amends with me, but instead he had left me stranded in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't let fear consume me, not when I was an Alpha myself. I had to be strong, and I had to find a way to survive.

Looking around me, I took in the details of the forest. The trees towered above me, their branches stretching out into the darkness. The leaves rustled in the wind, and I could hear the sound of animals scurrying about in the underbrush. It was a beautiful, yet intimidating, place.
