Pretend You Don't Know Me

The sky dusked with Mark sitting by the window waiting on Mildred, he has been mad at her since his second lesson and had planned to ignore when he gets home. But she wasn't there when he returned which is very unusual, it didn't bother him at first but he has grown restless over the past few hours. He was too worried about her safety that he forgot his grudge.

Headlights radiated through the window blinds, making him swiftly get up from the double seater he was resting on. A cab pulled up at their block, and Lindsay came out. She spoke to the driver briefly and ran towards their entrance, he got the door before she could knock.

" Hey" She smiled. " Sorry for making you worry"

" Where is Milly?"

" We'll talk about that in the car" She said and added " But she's fine" when she saw the fear in his eyes.

Lindsay enters the house and went straight to Mildred's room with Mark trailing behind her.

" What is going on?" He wouldn't stop asking questions.
