Chapter Seventy Five

Aurora PoV

Irritated and annoyed didn’t even begin to cover how I felt. I was conflicted and in a dilemma. It was hard to ignore the fact that Lisa and Klaus had kissed, which meant I hated her and had every right to.

Then again, Lisa’s the prophetic child. I was not entirely certain what the prophecy was all about, but I knew she had a huge role to play in ending the war. I felt obligated to help her achieve her destiny, but I couldn’t look past the fact that she’d kissed my husband.

Or the fact that those two had spent a night together. Or the fact that Klaus had risked his life for her. I knew Klaus and Lisa were close, but I’d always imagined the relationship was more like a brother sister relationship.

Nothing prepared me for catching them intimate. In fact, never in my wildest imagination did I ever think Klaus and Lisa looked had each other that way. If I didn’t see it with my eyes, I definitely would not have believed.
