She can't leave!

She stared at him, his chin resting on his hand, his green eyes fixated on her. "It's hard to explain to anyone, but Cameron is too much, even for me. I can't... can't keep up..." she looked at him quizzically, "Are you even listening, Ben?"

He straightened up, "Yes! Yes, of course," he answered, though the truth was he was. Her voice was soothing; he could listen to her all day.

She snatched the water flask from his hand and downed the contents. "It's a good thing only one of us is drinking," he muttered as he glanced around the deserted park. It was late at night. "I want to tell you to endure and persevere and that it will get better, but you've been complaining about him, about your work relationship since the first day you met him, and I think we need to find a permanent solution to it..."
