20. Bubble bath
After parking the bike, Eren and I finally enter the house, leaving trail of water all on our way.
“The one who reaches the bathroom first showers first!” I scream excitedly and rapidly begin to run towards the stairs.
“Woh, woh, woh.” Eren calls.
I immediately stop and look at him with squint eyes, suspicioning it’s a trap so that he can go first.
“Why don’t we bath together?” He asks casually, pushing his wet hair back. My heart skips a beat.
Is he serious?
Heat rushes to my cheeks, my heart beating fast. I don’t know what to say. My voice is stuck in my throat. I’ve not yet thought of our relationship at this level.

I apply some concealer under my eyes, trying to hide my dark circles which are so visible as I'm looking at myself in the mirror. I've barely slept last night. I pull the blanket over my head, attempting to gain one hour sleep more. A broken heart and a bed, the perfect match. I still can't believe that 'Eren and I' is over. I should have sense it though. It was too perfect to be true. Perfection doesn't last long.Wiping away my tears with my thumb, I squeeze my eyes together and try to fall asleep again. But there is a sudden knock at the door of my room. I frown, peeking my head out from the blanket.It can't be Eren. He broke up with me, he won't be here. Concluding that it must be Madam Tina, I get out of bed and head to the door.I open it and frown on seeing it's actually Eren with a tray of food in his hands."Good mor—"I slam the door on his face.He immediately knocks at the door again. Today I woke up early to do some work out. I needed to change my mind and burned all my sadness and fury. As I’m doing some stretchings, my phone suddenly rings. I sigh and quickly pick up the device from the chair. I smile as I see it’s my dear father. "Eren! It's here, stop!" I scream excitedly as I spot a crowd of people in the far end of the street, visible by an orangy glow.To make himself forgiven for all that happened, Eren has agreed to take me to the latern festival tonight. I have always dream to light a lantern while making a wish and release it in the sky, let the wind take it, knowing that it will stop somewhere. Somewhere out of the blue. After taking a good shower and got into my night robe, I go downstairs to say goodnight to Eren. But as I walk down the stairs, I hear a sad piano melody echoing the salon. I slowly open my eyes as I feel someone stroking my hair lightly. I’m blessed to see a pair of radiant sea-green eyes admiring my face.
