I was in the middle of applying my makeup in the vanity mirror when I heard Kaine behind me clearing his throat. "Did you get into some sort of scuff with Meredith when you were shopping with your mother?" Kaine asked. I continued applying my clear lipgloss over my red lips and popped them in response.
