After landing in NY, Alec leaves Evangeline at the hotel and goes to his home, telling Blake the good news. He barely made it through the door and already felt like it was a shitty day.

"Son!”

"Oh, no." Alec grumbles and drops the suitcase next to the door. "What are you doing here, Dominique? You weren’t gone?”

"Of course not, my dear." the dizzying and exaggerated woman, approaches and hugs Alec, making him roll his eyes. "I went to help my husband on a personal matter, but I’m back for you.”

"What a shame. Where’s my dad?”

"You’re not even gonna ask if I’m okay?”

Alec rolls his eyes once again and decides to look for his father on his own. The office was intact, with no presence of old Blake. Alec knew that his father had not been there for the last twenty"four hours, for he had no aroma of drink or cigar in the air.
