"… But in the end, there is no life on Earth without the sun. As for Luna." I looked up at Eric, who gazed at me from behind the cold metal bars of his cell. "It ends there."
"It just stops?"
"Yeah. I can't stop thinking about it. I want to know what he was going to say but I never will."
"And why did he just cut off?"
"I think…" I took a deep breath. "Maybe someone intercepted him. Took him out before he could do it to himself without ever knowing he planned to commit suicide. They took him out for another reason. I have a feeling."
"Who?"
"I don't know. My best guess at this point is Killian."
Eric chewed on his bottom lip. "I wish I could help more."

Tension was heavy between Eric and I, even after we apologized to each other. Eric's words hung hazy in my mind as we walked in silence. Neither of us spoke.
