Brooklyn' POV:

I remembered that after eating the roast duck, I suddenly felt powerless and wanted to call Bella, only to find that she had stopped dancing, just stood quietly on the side, watching my shaking body finally fall to the ground, squatting down, looking at me expressionlessly.

"I won't hurt you, but you have to keep your word. You said you would share everything with me."

I didn't know what she meant by that or what she wanted to do.

When I regained consciousness, three days later, I was in a hospital bed.

Abbey told me that the cabin at the end of the forest was on fire. When they went to put out the fire, they found me lying on the side, covered in blood, my long hair, nails and clothes cut in a mess. They were worried that something would happen to me, rushed me to the hospital.

But there was no other wound except for a deep wound on my arm that I had lost too much blood.

They asked me what happened and my mind went blank.
