"I will file a report against Sam for kidnap," I told my parents the decision I concluded.

"We understand," mom said and dad nodded sadly in agreement. They must be very sad about my decision. I put myself in their shoes and frankly speaking, it would be nearly impossible for me to have my own daughter jailed, but I would do it for her to become a better person. I was doing this for Sam's good as well.

"Let's go talk to Sam," dad said and left the room with mom. I trailed behind.

Sam was seated in the living room with her head hung in between her hands, crying her eyes out. She looked like a mess and I was almost convinced she was innocent with the crocodile tears she was shedding. They seemed genuine to me, but I knew deep inside me that she was just faking them because she wanted sympathy from me, but she wasn't getting any.
