AMELIA'S POV

I slowly opened my eyes, as the bright sunlight shining through the window immediately blinded me.

I groaned and turned my head away, feeling the exhaustion from the previous night's activities settle in my bones.

I couldn't remember the last time I had slept this deeply, but it was as if my body was trying to make up for lost time.

I immediately remembered everything about the party. The loud music, the dancing, the laughter, and the drinks. I had just had a glass and started feeling dizzy. I tried to steady myself, but the room was spinning, and I knew I had to find Chris to sit down. That's the last thing I remember before waking up in this unfamiliar room.

At first, I was disoriented and couldn't remember how I ended up there. But then, I noticed the empty bottle of liquor on the table beside me, and it all came back to me.
