Tammy and I sat on a table in the cafeteria snacking on a paper bag of peanut butter cookies. I couldn’t get my eyes off of Emily seated at the far end with Claire and the rest of the Cheer. When did they get so close? Not once did Emily try looking my direction because she was engrossed in whatever silly conversation they were having.
