5. NOT EXPOSED...

"Stop making such unfounded rumors!" Imelda anxiously said.

If they were alone, she would have not minded using Mike to agitate Anna.

However, now, Anna no longer cared about Mike, she refused to let herself be known as a homewrecker.

"Even though you're the one who's trying to be a sl*t and got caught in the act, you're trying to turn this around and slander us!"

"Slander?" Anna suddenly let go of George Wolf, from falling, she stepped forward to stand right in front of Imelda, suddenly extended her arm and directly grabbed her hand wearing the bracelet and removed it.

Her action was too unexpected and quick that Imelda didn’t have time to react. Still shocked by what had happened Anna showed the people around the initial on the bracelet making the hotel staff gasp in shock.

The outer part of the bracelet, was impressively carved with Mike and Imelda name (M❤ I) and the date of their anniversary. Which were even surrounded by a heart shape.

The truth had been revealed, and whatever excuses the two tried to make were useless.

It was not as if everyone was dumb.

Could it be that the pair had carved a pendant for fun?

Don't joke! The policemen tired of seeing the drama said tiredly, “This is a personal matter, please solve it privately."  They turned and asked Anna, "Miss Anna, have you been here all along?"

"Yes." Anna answered fast yet nervous because of the pair of cold eyes tiring down at her. She returns George side and wrapped her arms around his waist nervously, but for some reason, George did not expose the truth.

He only lowered his head to look at her, with a shadow of a smile on his face.

She was not exposed…

Anna smiled gratefully at George. Whatever his reason might be, for not exposing the truth, he had done her a great favor.

"Did something happen?" she inquired innocently.

She had not been there a while ago, and hence asking such a question was considered normal.

The policeman explained. "The guest next door has been severely harmed and has now been sent to the hospital to be saved."

"I have no idea what happened. I have been here all along. If you don't believe me, you can check the surveillance cameras," Anna said confidently, as she knew that the surveillance camera in this area of the hotel was not working. She knew all this coz this hotel was owned by the Cobby’s family and she knew that Mike had deleted the footage before calling the police. Though it was a gamble she was taking with the hope that things were the same as they were in the past.

Upon noticing the policemen's strange expressions, she smiled lightly, “Thanks to them! Ha!” Anna thought as she knew that her gamble paid off.

"However what I don't understand is, if the incident has occurred the next door, why did you come here to find me?" she asked with a look of confusion on her face.

Before the police officers even had a chance to reply, Imelda started to panic as she hurriedly spoke, "Wasn't it you who told me to find the director?" she knew Imelda wanted her as a scapegoat

Haa! Not this time bi**h

 Anna smiled mockingly, "I don't understand what you mean, I'm merely an assistant, what business would I have with the director? Are you suggesting that I wanted to get a role of my own? How funny.”
