6. FACE SLAP

Waving the phone in her hand, Anna remember that in her past life she had recorded her phone call conversation with Imelda. And that she didn’t give her definite answer that she would accompany her. And early in the bathroom she checked her phone for the voice record.

She tapped on her phone screen twice, and opened the recorded conversation."

The police officers took her phone and listened to the voice on the phone.

 Imelda: Hello Anna,

Anna: mmmh

Imelda: I'm meeting the director in his room in a short while. Accompany me to the meeting.

Anna: Is it really good to go to the director's room so late at night?

Imelda: That's why I want you to accompany me. If anything happens, you can help me.

Anna: I have something to do tonight so I can't make it. I think it's better if you don't go.

Imelda: I already told you to accompany me. Why are you still saying such useless things! Hello are listing?

Tu..tu...tu... After that, the call was cut…

Anna let out a sigh of relief as it seemed that this life the deity was with her and so far all were going well for her.

Yet the truth was that it was the same as in her past life. The only difference was that she was experiencing everything one more time.

Thus she was able to deal successfully with the situation, not only because she knew what was going to happen but also because everything was going her way, making it easy for her to get out of this problematic situation she could not escape in her past life. After listing to the conversation the policemen knew that that voice, they turned to Imelda.

Imelda’s expression was darkened for a second as she knew that that voice was her and could not believe that Anna had played it to the police officers.  The policemen knew that Imelda was guilty by the expression on her face but they need to confirm if the source of the voice was indeed Imelda’s.

"Miss Imelda, please can you follow us to the police station we have to verify that you are the one on the call," the police officer said.

Lair! You came along with me to the hotel.” Imelda started blabbing.

Raised her eyebrow, remaining calm yet mockingly said, "Did you not just say that I went alone? Why have you suddenly changed your mind?"

That made the policemen and by stands to become more suspicious of Imelda. Knowing that she had messed up she anxiously look toward Mike for help but what could Mike to now he could only follow her to the police station.

The police officers nodded their heads, obviously believing Lu Man more.

“You keep on claiming I came along with you to see the director but what evidence do you have? Coz me I have an alibi and also evidence showing you were the one with the director not me.” Said Anna.

No matter how anyone saw it Imelda was the most suspicious between the as she had no proof that she didn’t met the director.

"When the victim wakes up, if there's any problem, we will come to find you again. We hope that you will cooperate with our investigation," the police officers told Anna before leaving with Imelda.

"Of course." Anna calmly replied. After all she wasn’t the one who stabbed the director and that was a case for another day...
