By the time we heard from Roman, it was late afternoon. He simply called to inform us that the fight was over and that Darius had taken his wounded home but most of the shipments were destroyed. Darius later called to speak with Nox, and I took the time to excuse myself and check on Hailey.

Before coming to Nox’s office, I had shown Hailey to her room and handed her over to Emelda who was more than happy to show her around. A quick mindlink to Emelda and I found them sitting under a weeping willow having cakes and tea with Penelope picking flowers near them.
