Chapter One Hundred and Seven

In a matter of minutes, Sydney was driving Abigail and I straight to the Temple. Roman had informed me that he was on his way as well but would leave the men on standby just in case.

One could not be too careful.

Since I left Sector Three, I had been trying to reach Elder Kirsten but I discovered I couldn't, so I made my concerns known to the women in the car with me.

"She's probably busy at the moment or has too many people she's mindlinking at the same time." Abigail explained.

Naturally, a ride from sector three to the Temple took about an hour and a half, for me it felt like forever and it also took longer because people were making their way to the Temple and now the road was congested in traffic.
