Chapter 54: Jordan

Rubbing my head, I open my eyes slowly.  There is a sharp pain coming from the back of my scalp and I have no clue, why it hurts so much.  Did the man hit me with something and then I blacked out?

Not having a clue what time it is, I scan the area to figure out if it is even daylight or dark out.  As I force myself to stand, I feel dizzy and lightheaded, but still manage to stay on my feet as I walk over to the window.  Now, I just wonder where the man went and where Lillian is. 

Did he take her with him?  Or did she manage to run away before he could?  Hopefully, she escaped and is just waiting for me somewhere in the house.

Calling out to her, I hear nothing in response and that worries me.  Especially when I finally make my way to the kitchen and see a few pieces of her clothes on the counter and evidence of a struggle throughout the house.  What has happened?
