I'm good, Dad," I said, not wanting to talk about myself. “Well, thanks for your time.”

I stood up to leave. Visits with my father had always been all business anyways. The man believed in nothing more than himself. I hurried down to the garage to find Richard.

I watched Richard from afar. He looked more manly in the garage environment. He was fascinated by something in the car engine area, so I moved closer.
