miss you

It's been a week, Reo no longer shows his nose in front of Jack. Reo seemed to have been swallowed up by the earth. Wherever Jack believed that Reo would always stop by on a normal day, it didn't produce the results he hoped for.

The longing crept into his body. The image of Reo had crossed Jack's mind for the past week. Reo ... a man who became Jack's best friend for a long time. A friend who always accompanies Jack in his downturn, and is happy.

Jack feels guilty towards Reo. He... chooses to leave Reo just because his best friend is sexually deviant. For one reason, Jack almost forgot the heaps of kindness Reo had in his life.

"Reo, where are you? I want to apologize to you." Jack whispered.

He wanted to cry, but the damn tears wouldn't fall from their place. Hasn't Jack suffered a lot about his friendship with Reo yet?

Falling in love is not wrong. Everyone knows, we can never choose where this heart will fall. However, Reo's love for Jack still feels difficult to understand logic. Men like the same sex. Invite a date, don't even hesitate to ask for sex like a normal couple. Jack still has logic even if it is only a small pebble.

"Where are you, Reo?"

Jack got up from the chair that was directly opposite the study table. He walked to the balcony of the room. Standing on the threshold of the guardrail.

The two eyes closed. Enjoy the sensation of the night wind blowing. Cold, but refreshing.

"Night breeze. It's like the way you treat me, Reo. Like the night breeze. Cold, but refreshing. Everything you've been doing lately has always been beyond my expectations." Jack painted a smile on his face.

Five seconds later, Jack shook his head. Dispelled a disgusting image that almost clouded his mind. Jack scooped up a rough face, then punched the fence so hard that he himself felt the pain.

"Reo! You're driving me crazy. Agh ..."

Jack's body slumped to the floor. He lay down on the cold floor. Jack enjoyed the coolness of the floor.

He closed his eyes a second time. A little longer than before. There is a word that can not be heard by the ear. Only Jack, and God knows.

"Reo, come back. I need you."

It's the same with Jack, who is in a state of confusion, because he can't find Reo. Reo himself was also excited, because this whole week he had been holding back the urge not to get close to Jack.

Jack. An ignorant friend. It's been helped a lot in the past, but to reciprocate a brief feeling from Reo is completely incapable. It wasn't Reo's intention to show off his kindness. No, that's not it. Reo only felt annoyed with Jack, so the images of his kind behavior towards Jack were always in his mind.

"Jack, it's true what romantic male characters say in romance novels. Missing is heavy. Very, very hard. I miss you, Jack. I wanted to meet you, but... I'm afraid. I'm embarrassed. I don't want you to feel disgusted, because make friends with someone like me."

Reo gave a forced smile. "Gay man who openly confesses in front of a man he loves, even though I know ... that Jack is a normal man, not an abnormal like me."

Reo looked up at the gray clouds in the sky. The dark sky is lit by clusters of stars without the mother moon. It seems like the sky is showing its gloomy mood, like how Reo felt on the rooftop in an empty building.

"Jack ... I love you. It's only because of you that I survived. However, when I think back to what you said a week ago, I feel that I don't deserve to ..."

Reo took a deep breath. Blow it out hastily. "Living in this world." Reo added, continuing the previous words.

"Reo!"

The sound of calling his name was heard. Reo turned to the source of the voice, then looked away again in a fifth of a minute.

The caller approached Reo who was sitting on a long chair. He sat next to Reo's right. A sweet smile was evident on his face.

"What are you doing here?" Reo asked without further ado.

"Accompany you, Reo." He handed a box of rice to Reo. "Eat. I know, you haven't eaten since morning."

"No need to care. Get away from me, Starla." Reject Reo.

The girl called Starla just sighed softly. He disguised his smile. "I know that you already hate me, because of what happened two years ago."

Reo stared blankly at Starla. Starla's gaze and facial expression could not be read at all. Because of that too, Starla felt sad.

"Reo, I was wrong. I really apologize to you. Please forgive me." Starla said as she touched Reo's arm.

Reo slapped Starla's hand. He rose to his feet. Then, cast a sharp glare at Starla.

"Don't expect you to get sorry after what you did two years ago!"

Starla got up too. She laughed sarcastically, but the tears didn't stop falling from his eyes. "Don't overdo it, Reo! I only cheated on my best friend for three months. That's normal in relationships."

"Normal, you say?" Reo laughed sarcastically. "I don't think it's something to be taken for granted, Starla. It's a real shame. Unfortunately, you cheated on me while I was still dating you."

"Then if you are now a Gay that can be considered a normal thing?" Starla asked rebuking Reo.

Reo froze. I don't think Starla knows anything related to deviant sex. "How did she know?" The question kept replaying in Reo's mind.

"Reo! That's right, what I said." said Starla.

Reo sighed in exasperation. Then he walked away. Leaving Starla alone in a lonely place.

"Looks like I'll have to find a quieter place again." Reo muttered on the sidelines of his journey.

"Last week, Reo didn't go to school. So is he today also like last week?" asked Kennath, the class president to all the members.

Many answered that they did not know. There are also those who answer about speculations about Reo's absence since last week. However, only Jack seemed silent, pensive. Thinking of something that still has something to do with Reo.

"Jack, do you know where Reo is?" Kennath asked Jack.

Jack shrugged nonchalantly. "I don't know."

"What are you, and he's having a fight?" Kennath asked again.

"I don't think so. A week ago, we just had a disagreement." replied Jack.

"It's as if you two were fighting, Jack!" Kennath shouted as he punched Jack lightly in the shoulder.

Jack cleared his throat. Then he tried to turn his attention to the book.

"Jack, usually---"

"Don't ask me again. I want to study for the daily math exam in the first hour of admission."

If Jack had said that, then neither Kennath nor the others could oppose him anymore.

Jack. The man who is famous for his concentration while studying. Anyone who disturbs her while studying will definitely go to the hospital, because of Jack. However, this does not apply to Reo. The only person Jack was really close to.

Talking about Reo, Jack was again attended by longing. He gripped the grip on the thick book containing a collection of algorithmic formulas.

"Reo, where are you?" he muttered questioningly.

Jack sighed. "I miss you, damn it!"
