Chapter 49

It’s been weeks now since I’ve seen Colton it hurts less and less each day but I do miss him terribly the annual ball is in three weeks so I’ve been throwing myself into pack affairs, training and the ball preparations. The ball is three weeks away from now it falls on my birthday today the girls and I have decided to head into town to find our dresses before we are left with the fugly left overs it won’t be easy picking something since we choose an all white theme. It’s six in the morning so I sprung up to have a shower and dress for the day. I get out the shower as I come out towel drying my hair the familiar scent hits me along with a mix of emotions. Colton’s sitting on my bed looking depleted I want to run to him and throw my arms around him and let him know how much I have missed his presence but i hold back and opt for a cool and casual “hey” while I mentally cringe at myself. He snaps his neck to face me and his face drops I can see the pain his in and can’t comfort him and it
