ZUIDERKERK.

We arrived not less than an hour later, climbing out of the car and walking majestically into the big Zuiderkerk Catholic church. Since it wasn't mass hours the building was almost empty if not for the photographist sitting in one of the pews. The church wasn't beautified with flowers or ribbons of any sort. I shouldn't have had high thoughts about it since I knew it all wasn't real but I still did.

How would it feel to have a real husband? I already have a lovely, bouncing baby boy. Only a man was remaining. I couldn't help but let my mind travel. I waved it off, staring at the altar which was filled up with lit candles at every corner. A large gateau cake and an expensive wine completed the façade.

My footsteps echoed on the hard concrete floor as I walked towards the altar, Lorenzo keeping up with me.
