Special Ability

After finishing dinner with the Jaguar team, Eren returned to his room. When he entered the room, Rofer immediately greeted him.

         "Hello Mr Eren. Anything I can help?" asked Rofer.

         "No, Roffer. I'm tired today. I just want to rest," Eren said as he walked towards the bathroom. He wanted to clean his body from the dust and sweat that clung to it. While in the bathroom. Eren took off his clothes until he was completely naked. Eren's body is not as muscular as Ben or Jacob's. It was because he rarely practiced physically like the two of them.

         The shower in the bathroom turns on automatically when Eren steps into the bath area.

         "Ah, the pleasure of taking a warm bath. It seems I haven't felt the pleasure of a warm bath for a long time," said Eren under the splash of the sophisticated shower. As Eren cleaned his body, he thought of Zoya's words back.

         “Special ability? What do you mean by special ability huh?” Eren muttered in his mind. Soon he was in the bathroom. Eren immediately put on the nightgown that was stored in his wardrobe. Because his body was exhausted, Eren immediately lay down on his sophisticated mattress.

         "I'm so tired today. My body looks like it's just been beaten by ten people," said Eren, wincing in pain. Today's physical exercise made Eren really tired. Until finally without him knowing, he fell fast asleep on his bed-

         -The next morning-

         "Hoam..." Eren woke up from his sleep. He fell asleep like that the night before. He opened his eyes and called out to Rofer who was standing in the corner of the room.

         “Rofer, please come here. What time is it now?" asked Eren who was still enjoying his soft mattress. Rofer immediately approached Eren.

         "Good morning Mr Eren. It's eight thirty in the morning now," answered Rofer in his robotic voice. Eren was immediately surprised to hear Rofer's answer.

         "What?! Eight thirty in the morning? Oh shit! I overslept!” said Eren panicked. He immediately jumped out of bed and immediately changed his sleepwear into Team Jaguar uniforms.

         "Does Mr. Eren want some hot coffee?" asked Roger offering.

         “No Rofer, I'm already late for practice. Now I'll go first, okay?" Eren said while wearing his uniform. After finishing, Eren immediately left his room. He half-struggled into the training hall to meet the Jaguar team.

         “Oh, I must have been bullied by the Jaguar team. You idiot Eren, on the second day of practice, you're already late," Eren said blaming himself. A few steps later, Eren arrived in the hall. The other four Jaguar team members have already started training.

         "Hi, friends. Sorry I'm late," said Eren with a slightly out of breath because he had run from his room.

         "Hey Eren. I thought you were sick, so you didn't join today's practice,” said Miyuki. As usual Miyuki was the friendliest person to Eren.

         "No Miyuki. I woke up late. Maybe because of fatigue from yesterday's physical exercise."

         "I thought he was out of here," Jacob said coldly. Jacob continued his practice alone with Ben. They practice lifting heavy barbells.

         "What's wrong with Jacob? Looks like he doesn't like me," asked Eren who was confused by Jacob's attitude.

         "Oh you just ignore him. He's like that towards new kids," Zoya replied.

         "Yeah, you don't have to worry about him. Let's start practicing Eren. We will accompany you" Miyuki said while putting his arm around Eren's shoulder. Eren, Miyuki and Zoya started jogging around the hall. While running, Eren asked Zoya.

         "Zoya, I want to ask you something, may I?" said Eren.

         "What do you want to ask? About special abilities?” Zoya guessed.

         "Well how do you know?" Eren said a little surprised.

         "Yes, yes, I know. That's the question all Jaguar team members ask when they just joined, "

         "Oh okay, hehehe. So what is a special ability?” asked Eren curiously.

         "Don't you realize Eren, why does the Jaguar team have so few members?" Zoya asked as she continued to walk around the hall running.

         "Oh yes. Team Jaguar only has five members, including me. Why are we only a few? Unlike other divisions”

         "I'll be honest with you. Team Jaguar is the most elite team here. Only people with special abilities can join here. You see Jacob. He will do his special ability now,” Zoya said while looking at Jacob from a distance. Eren stopped running and looked at Jacob who was preparing something.

         “Jacob, your record yesterday running around this hall was twenty-two seconds. See if you can do it faster,” said Ben who was standing next to Jacob. Jacob was in a position ready to sprint. He bent down and prepared to run.

         "Did you set the timer, Ben?" Jacob asked for sure. Ben nodded his head.

         "Okay, wait for my cue," said Ben, holding the timer in his muscular hands.

         "We'd better get out of this running track. Jacob wants to show his action," said Miyuki inviting the two friends. Zoya and Eren walked to the center of the hall to get away from the running track that would be used by Jacob. The three of them listened intently to what Jacob was about to do.

         "Okay Jacob, you ready?" Ben asked, looking into Jacob's face. Jacob nodded his head confidently.

         "Okay then. As soon as the count of one, you immediately run huh. Three, two, one!” said Ben half-screaming. Quickly and powerfully, Jacob immediately dashed off. He ran very fast beyond ordinary humans. Eren shocked him half to death. In his entire life, he had never seen a human being able to run that fast.

         “He, he runs really fast. Even I can't see it clearly,” said Eren. Everyone in the hall saw how fast Jacob ran. Jacob ran around the hall one full lap and before long he was at the finish line. Ben immediately stopped the timer.

         "How's Ben? How much time do I have?” Jacob asked with a heavy breath.

         "Time... Twenty seconds!" shouted Ben, looking at the number on his timer.

         "Yes! I did it! My speed is getting faster and faster!” said Jacob with satisfaction. Zoya, Miyuki and Eren came over to Jacob who was sitting on the floor of the hall due to exhaustion after draining his energy.

         "Well congrats, Jacob. You broke the previous record," Zoya said with a smile.

         "Wow you're great Jacob! Congratulations!" said Miyuki who was also happy for Jacob's achievement.

         "Thank you Miyuki. This is all thanks to my hard work all this time,” said Jacob with a satisfied smile.

         "Congratulations, Jacob. You're great" Eren said as he reached out his hand to congratulate Jacob. Jacob was silent for a moment as he looked at Eren's hand.

         "Thank you..." Jacob answered slowly. He didn't take Eren's hand. His face was flat and cold as he looked at Eren. Jacob immediately got up from his seat.

         "I'm going to get a drink first," said Jacob as he walked away from the rest of the Jaguar team. Eren was just silent getting arrogant treatment from Jacob.

         "Alright, just ignore him. He's like that," Zoya said trying to comfort Eren.
