Chapter thirty-four - The Rain goes on

"What do you mean the car doesn't work? " I practically screamed in panic. Adam looked calm as he tried to start the car.

"It just doesn't work, love. Stay calm, there is no reason to panic. "He tries to keep me on track.

"We're on an unknown street, it's already dark, and it's raining horrors. Isn't that enough reason to panic? "I ask irritated with who knows what.

"Can your panic get us out of here? " He gives up the car and looks at me.

"No. But your calm can't either. " I rebut.

"Okay, so let's get both stuck here. You with your panic and me with my calm. "To tell you the truth, Adam didn't seem calm anymore, he seemed to be starting to get irritated.

"What will we do? "I ask after a while in silence.

"My cell phone is out of range. "He observes messing with the device. " Does yours work? "Hopeful question. I just take the phone out of my pocket and hand it to him. "It's the same. " He exhales through his mouth.

"We're going to die here, aren't we? "I ask and turn to look at him.
