Chapter 12

Camilla's POV

I have been in my room all day reading after I left the dining room. I am in the third book now and I am almost done.

After my mom came to the room earlier to ask if I wanted to join in the kitchen, I declined. I decided to sleep a little before dinner time.

I woke up just now to see that it was almost Six PM. I was wondering if the guest had arrived. But surely my mom would have sent for me. I took a shower then settled for a short pink gown for the evening.

I came downstairs just in time for Andrew to walk in with his girlfriend. Ahhhhh… fuck me, it's too late to go back because they have seen me so I pretended that I didn't see them and went straight to the dining table.

Our parents are already there waiting for us. I plucked my behind on the chair. They walked in and my Mom stood up to hug Brielle. I just rolled my eyes at them.

She has never shown interest in my love life. And she should because she is my mother. I will talk to her about it tomorrow.
