Hunter’s POV

I was at home when I felt a sharp pain in my chest, I was feeling uneasy.

“Mate,” Ryder said.

Something is wrong, I feel like she is in pain. I didn’t think twice, I took out my keys and drove to her house. I didn’t bother knocking on the front door, I went ahead and climbed up to her room.

She sat on the floor, her head against her knees when she heard footsteps she looked up, and her puffy eyes met mine, and she looked like she has been crying for a while.

Fuck, what happened to her?

“Hey. Are you alright?.” I asked, she didn’t say a word, I sat next to her and wrapped my hands around her pushing her face against my chest.

“Shush, it’s fine,” I said.

I rubbed her back as she sobbed on my chest, I hated seeing her like this, I hated the fact she was crying.

“Who made our mate cry?.” Ryder asked.

“I will find out,” I said to him.

I need to focus on her, I made small circles on her back, and when I didn’t hear any more cries, I knew she was asleep, I carried her off
