Seventy Nine

Kristen turned on the bed and opened her eyes slowly. She was on the bed with no sign of Frederick in the room.

"Where has he gone to?"

She wondered, rubbing her eyes in an attempt to get rid of sleep from her eyes.

"He should have woken me up. How can he leave me alone when his grumpy old man is here".

She muttered sadly and struggled out of the bed before walking out of the room. She was in such a hurry that she did not realize someone was on her way. In fact, she didn't notice anyone until she bumped into a person who happened to be standing at her door waiting.

Before she knew it she landed on the floor but fortunately, the person caught her hand pulling her up slowly

"Woah, slow down. Always watch where you are going, dear"

The person said while helping her off the floor. Kristen looked up to see the most heartwarming smile ever.

Mrs. Bushman chuckled and pinched her nose.

"You are so cute with your big eyes. My son sure has eyes for good things"
