Chapter 34- A Grasp of Something

Vera Anderson's POV

"Oh my God! what happened to your left arm darling? Why does it have a bandage?", Nanny was anxiously concerned when I went inside the house. She approached me and gave me a tight hug.

"Are you okay?", she asked again and cupped my face. I know Nanny was really worried of me.

"I'm fine Nanny. There's nothing to worry about", I responded and sat on the sofa bed. She followed and sit beside me. I know Nanny wants me to tell her what happened. But I was in doubt because I'm sure she would also tell Harold about it, and I don't want my brother to be worried. She grabbed the paper bag and looked into it. She took out my blouse and a blood stain on it became visible in her eyes. I think I could no longer hide everything from her because I know Nanny would never stop questioning me until I will tell her the truth.

My apprehension serves me right because after telling her what happened earlier, she feel even more worried of me.
