Melisa's POV "Shit!!" I whimpered in pain as I struggled to keep my stance. Gasping out for breath!! I held on to a tree branch in the woods to support myself. My head was throbbing and My vision foggy. It's been a whole day of non stop running, from Luther and his good for nothing warriors. I can swear with my life that he has sent a thousand of those good for nothing fools to come after me. The thought of that scares me to death. This moment I feel they are everywhere and would catch up on me. The other moment I feel I am being protected by the moon's goodness. I had successfully left the borders of the moomicrant park, and couldn't be more surprised that no one suspected or followed me closely. The bulge in my tummy kicked, causing a pang of pain to wash over my body. Teas filled my eyes while I struggled to keep my racing heart in check. I caused all of this for myself, going against Luther's rule and defending a stranger I knew nothing about. I kicked my legs hard
I scurried and halted at the sight of the cascade. It was the most beautiful thing I have seen since my parents were snatched away from me. I reduced my pace and took in the scent that came from the flowing water, followed by the trees and flowers around. The chilly feel of the environment southend my pained heart. My body became peaceful at the sight of it. "Home… This is home." I whispered to myself letting the salty liquid from my eyes drop to my mouth. I walked slowly to the fountain taking in all the good stuff around. Crouched low and scooped enough water to quench my thirst. Heaved out a deep breath. The coursing of the water inside my body sent healing and hope. Such that I never knew, existed The feeling – Absolutely surreal I thrust my duffle aside, and slipped off from my clothes, jumped into the water without having a second thought. For a minute, I had nothing to worry about, no one to make my blood rumble. And no one existed in the world. Just me and my pup.
Luther's POV Zuka growled at the idiot, floating in the air. "You bastard!" I snarled at him as my eyes flashed wolf.No one dared to lie to me, even if it would cause their life "And you–!" I convulsed him with all The strength I had, making him quake. " Who amongst you fools, wants to replace this crappy idiot?" I questioned with my gaze scanning through the frightened face of the warriors. The sudden silence that flooded the air enraged Zuka. "Coward!!" I yelled between gritted teeth. "I won't repeat myself again, you come now–or never!" I spoke in a low gravelly tone. Two warriors stepped out hastily with an evil smirk. I scoffed out "signing up for your death— fool!" I muttered in my head. "Take the knife and slit his throat!" I instructed, not minding the sudden change of the expressions on their faces. The first fellow was hesitant to pull out his knife, the other did and lunged towards me, slitting the neck of the bastards who was still struggling to let loose fro
Benedict POV I took in a breath, trying to control my racing heart. The bastard had noticed me and was hell bent on showing how superior he is. I whispered some prayers to the moon goddess hoping he doesn't recognise me. "It wasn't time to show my face yet" I reassured myself, trying to calm Perry who had gone wild in my head.I ducked my head quickly,as soon as Luther got few miles away from me But that was after a long battle for dominance with Perry. The urge to lose out and tear Luther apart coursed through my vines, causing a pang in my chest and a swirl in my head. I was wiser to give in easily to the urge of Perry and die in the cold hands of the momicrant. Luther darted his gaze to a different direction and took a few steps away from me, but halted and looked back. I knew the exact thing he was trying to do, and the only way of escape was to act scared. I lowered my head back with my hands clenched into a fist. I had devised a way to escape without dragging the att
Melissa's POV The starry and dark sky transit into soft and diffused beams peeking through the clouds, casting a gorgeous pink and rosy hue in the woods. The sleeping grasses and leaves spring up with its adorable flowers. The gentle breeze and chirping of incest, the crisp and clean air ushered a new day for both plants, animals and humans. But I guess– me and my pup were kicked out of the table long before dawn. The swell on my legs pulsed, the ache in my heart deepened, my breath came in short bursts, my foggy vision only saw blurred images, my life was coming to an end. Herk!!– I couldn't stop running. Not when I am still pursued by Luther's warriors, not when I am still on the radar of the moomicrant. I lunged further deep into the woods, wincing and sobbing hard. The pang on my chest pierced deep into my soul, shredding it into pieces, the bulge on my tummy throbbed. Hunger had eaten up my lungs and was slowly feasting on my pup– so I thought. My entire existence is at
I darted my gaze at both sides abruptly, to see where the call came from but instead of seeing the human, my sight was graced with total darkness. I shuddered violently in horror to break loose, but a force enveloped me like a second skin such that I couldn't even move a thumb. Tears flowed down my eyes as the feeling of hopelessness enveloped me. "What do you want from me? " I screamed out in my thoughts. Hoping she would hear. And just as I imagined, she did. "Melisa !! You are my guest!" She spoke calmly in the sweetest and melodious voice I have ever heard. My eyes widened to see a gorgeous young woman sitting with her legs crossed at my front. Her smile was radiant, it could light the heart of a thousand gloomy men. Her beautiful oval face shape popped, revealing the sexy curves of her lips, her perfectly placed pointed nose and her eyes that could lure a hundred horny men to bed by just a blink. The red shades on her lips complimented her skin tone. Her hair was glo
I jerked up from sleep gasping for breath, looked around the cave in freight, "Herk! That can't just be a dream. It felt real, I could feel it. Her voice still rings in my ears, her looks everything feels fucking real.Sweat erupts from my skin. The witch that everyone in the werewolf kingdom dreaded is back. " How? How did it happen? How did I let her out of her cage? Why was she thanking me? " several questions popped into my mind as I struggled to run out. I felt a huge force dragging me back into the cave while I screamed and yelled in pain crawling my way out. "The voice that called out in my dreams , who is he?" I asked without expecting a response as more random questions burst in my mind making my head swell. Anyone who sees me now would liken me to a mad woman. well, their guess won't be far from the truth, because how did I fucking see Darakula, the powerful witch that vanished from the earth realm hundreds of years ago? Flashes of her face when she observed the
Benedict POV. Two fucking days has passed and I am still on the road, Juggling through mountains and hills, jumping past rivers and streams. "Herk!! The journey from the Moomicrant to the Moonrozik park is quite a distance" deep breath " Yeah,I am glad I covered it."I gasped and let out a satisfied smirk at the sight of the emblem of Moonrozik at the top of their longest tower. The city is known for its beautiful structures, exciting scenery and fierce humans. Well, an Adventure… this would be. A pang of satisfaction washed over my body. It was time to take what belongs to me, and there is no relenting. The darkness from the cloud covered the earth, the moon and a few stars were the only source of light. I rested on my back at a big oak tree, catching my breath and planning for the big day when I suddenly began to hear footsteps from afar. it was so unrhythmic and inconsistent making it even more difficult to know what was coming towards me. I stayed calm and activated a
