Melisa's POV

"Shit!!" I whimpered in pain as I struggled to keep my stance.

Gasping out for breath!!

I held on to a tree branch in the woods to support myself. My head was throbbing and My vision foggy.

It's been a whole day of non stop running, from Luther and his good for nothing warriors.

I can swear with my life that he has sent a thousand of those good for nothing fools to come after me.

The thought of that scares me to death. This moment I feel they are everywhere and would catch up on me. The other moment I feel I am being protected by the moon's goodness.

I had successfully left the borders of the moomicrant park, and couldn't be more surprised that no one suspected or followed me closely.

The bulge in my tummy kicked, causing a pang of pain to wash over my body.

Teas filled my eyes while I struggled to keep my racing heart in check.

I caused all of this for myself, going against Luther's rule and defending a stranger I knew nothing about.
