Chapter-20 I am not going back

Erica's POV***

I can't believe he is here,did he came here to take me with hi...m,no way,he will never do tha...but wait he text me that he came to take me with him.... but hell with he taking me back ,I am never going to talk nor step out from my house. 

Then a knock on my door got me out from my thought,"baby,come down, your aunt,uncle and Richard are here",mom said from outside my door.

"okay,I'll be there in a sec,"I replied from,"okay!! be quick"mom said and she went down.

I stood up from my bed and walk towards my dressing table and look myself into the mirror whether I look fine or not,then realization hit me again,What the hell??am I doing,Erica you look just fine ,you don't need to look yourself up on mirror for him, yes!!!!. With that I went down,and there I saw him, Mr .Arrogant smirking at me but then I turn away from him and walk towards aunt and uncle.And as they saw me ,aunt stood up and gave me a tight hug,I hug her back and as we parted.

"how are you my daughter??"she asked and I just gave a tight smile.

"I am fine aunt and I am sorry for not telling you the truth why I came back??",I stated 

"no its okay sweety ,you don't have to apologize for anything and its not your fault,right son"she said as she turn her head towards Richard and grin at him.Richard sat still while crossing his arm over his chest.

"Mr .Arrogant..."I mumble as I glare at him.

"yes Erica ,you don't need to apologize and thanks to you ,our family got a chance to have a vacation"uncle Robert said with a smile.

I didn't say anything and gave a smile.

Its almost seven o 'clock ,night and I am getting bored because I can't even go and watch TV because their is no single nor go outside the house to get fresh air,I have been lying here on my bed for almost two hours and they don't bother to  even come to console me .

"ahhhhhh....",I scream out loud.

Then all of the sudden my door was flung open and I hurriedly got up and saw my dad,mom,aunt ,uncle and Richard inside.

"what happen sweety?why did you scream?",dad asked with concerned .

Before answer I look at their faces and then said ,"I-I got bored so I just screamed to realised my loneliness "

They all smile at each other with relief all over their faces and when I glance at Richard he was staring at me ,so I moved my eyes away from his stare and smiled at those old lovers.

"you scared us all baby"mom said as she came and stroke my hair.

I smile and said,"I am sorry,I didn't meant to scare you all".

"if you were bored you should have just come down and join us"aunt Corey said.

"yes baby ,you can come down"Mom asked as she rubbed my arm.

I shook my head and said ,"no,its fine ,you guys can go and enjoy your talks ,I like to stay here rather to listen to your boring talks".

"are you sure sweety??if we leave you won't scream again right?"Mom asked in a teasingly manner.

"yes,mom I am sure ,I won't ,now you guys go on"and I slightly push mom.

"alright"she said.

"but sweety if you are..."dad said but I cut him off in between.

"no,I am fine now,you guys go on, please",I insisted.

"okay then" and as just they were to walk out.Richard open his mouth,

"Uncle Calip ,do you mind if I give her some company?I mean I want to clear out on our misunderstanding ?,if you feels its alright"he asked with so much polite and respect .

Dad gave him a smile before he agreed with him. I did try to protest the idea but I lost and ended up him being here in my room.

We didn't spoke a word nor I tried to look at him,we continued to remain silent then I thought why should I wait  for him if he doesn't want to talk instead I thought that I should take a cold shower to relax myself. And so, I stoop up ,grab my towel along with my dress and went inside the bathroom. I took a long shower and it does really relax me and came out but  I was startle to see him right in front of the bathroom door.

"what were you doing in there so long?" he asked 

"I should be asking you that what were you doing in front of my bathroom door,pervert ?"I said sternly.

He shook his head and walk over to bed and sat at the edge of the bed. I also walked over my dressing table and blow dry my hair and when I peep at him through the mirror he was still sitting quietly deep in his thought. 

I finished doing my business and went straight to bed and pull the cover over my body and staring at his broad shoulder. As I kept staring at his back ,I feel my eyes getting heavier and as he was about to speak I fell asleep and couldn't hear what he was about to say.

DREAM~~~

I was trying to run as fast as I could from them but the more I run away from them,the crowd increase but I didn't gave up and continue to run and as I was running I saw a man standing in the middle of the street and I thought I am safe now so I rush towards him but then when I am nearing him,I realised his face and so I stopped at my way and stood firm at my place and I heard him saying,

"which way will  you like to take Erica ?me or them but if you go with them you will  be beaten without any rest until they shed your blood out and if you come  with me you'll live in paradise,now its up to you to decide.?"and smirk at me.

I look at back and  the crowd was staring at me with full of hatred  and raged all over their faces ,ready to attack me any minute and on the other hand ,Melvin stood their firm at his place with his arms over his chest and smirking at me with full of evilness over him. Then I thought for a second and lifted up my head to face them and said,"I rather die now in their hands than spending my life with you"

He loosen his arms on hearing me and he began to laugh out loud and I clearly know the meaning of that laughter,now,I am going to suffer but I need to faced my decision ,yes,I can't turn back now but I .....'no 'but' Erica you need to be strong ,strong enough to tackle them by yourself ,you can't just keep on relying on your parents nor Richard for the rest of your life ,come on you can do it' my inner self stated.

As I came back to reality my eyes were widen as well as I took a step backward when I saw that the people had surrounded me by all sides .Then I heard a voice from behind the crowd 

"now ,enjoyed your wrong decision you made ,I did gave you a choice but you chose this,bye sweetheart"

After he said,the crowd began to come nearer and nearer,oh!!!shit now what have I gotten myself into,please someone help me .Then the crowd began to pulled me from every corners ,I felt like I am going to be rip apart by them.

"please sto..p,plea...se someone help me,plea...se"and  I  pleaded for help in between the crowd. They were pulling my hair ,punching me on my stomach and wherever they can,as they were beating me,all of the sudden.

I heard a voice  calling me out,a husky voice ,a voice that I have heard somewhere ,a voice that's like Rich...RICHARD...

End of the dream....

My eyes open wide when I heard his voice and I saw his face in front of me. Then he rub my cheek with his thumb and said,"why were you crying ,had a nightmare ??"

And without a second thought ,I hug him and he responded me by hugging  me back,I hug him tightly as if there is no tomorrow and began to sob,I began to sobbed hard while he caress my back. 

When I relax myself ,I pull apart from him before I mumble a' sorry' to him. He look disappointed when I apologize but didn't protest about it.

Then after a second or so,he said,

"I am sorry Erica "

My eyes again widen in shock not because he apologize but he called me by my name,did I heard it correct,he just called me Erica ?

"d-id yo-u just call-ed me Erica ?"I asked while stammering as I speak.

"yes,Erica and I truly am sorry for my behavior towards you and yes,I should have believed you that day but me being a jerk and an a*s hurt you and your feelings but please forgive me this once"he stated as he kept his head down staring on the floor.

Me being a sensitive and kind hearted girl tends to forgive people easily and when others plead me ,I give up easily and tends to forgive them even if they did so many horrible things to me. And if I can forgive them then why can't I forgive him,the one I love.

"Richard please lift your head up" I said worryingly but he didn't lift his head.

"please lift up your head ,I can't bear you seeing like this apologizing with your head down no,I can't,please"then he slowly lift his head up and stare at me with his brown dazzling eyes.

"Erica ,can you please give me a chance ,I ....."but I cut him off in between

"I forgive you and yes,one more thing don't you ever dare bow your head in front of me "I order sternly.

To which he smile and said 

"okay ,I won't and thank you for forgiving me "

I shook my head,a smile make its way on my lips,"no its fine and I know that one day I am going to forgive you,so"

"okay so if you forgave me you are coming back to NY with us...."I cut him off in between again before removing the covers from my body and said ,"no, I am not leaving"which made him to widen his eyes.

"what ??you aren't going to go back with us"he asked in astonishment .

Yes !!! I am not going back with you....
