Chapter 40: The Thinking Cap

Kazamir's POV

One glance at the note, and I knew it was forged. That was not Elean's handwriting. It is either his cover had been blown, or perhaps, he'd join hands with Orvyn. I cannot be fooled. A century and a decade alive had taught me better than letting little pointers go unchecked.

"This is not from Elean. The indentations of his handwriting has been altered. Something must have happened to him." I said to the scouts that brought me the note.
