Chapter 65: A True Oath

Olive's POV

Ninety-nine percent of the time, I was half myself. Turning towards Orvyn, I hunched down beside him, paying deafness to the gushes of the Ulfrics, and the regretful cries from their stubborn Alpha.

Serves him right.

I palmed his chest, and immediately, I was transported to a different dimension. The sky was gloomy and bloody red. Everything was at a standstill, including the sea on which I stood. It's a wonder I stood afloat.

"Orvyn, where are you?" I muttered, spinning about to catch a glimpse of Orvyn, or anything that looked like him.

I saw him. Miles away, knees deep into the sea, The Mutes, conjoined as one, tormented him with their hand clasped around his jugular. He tried to fight his way out of their grip, but like before, he was no match for them.

"If he dies here, he dies in real life," a voice in my head noted aloud. "Hurry."

Not again.
