“Here I am sweating and suffering to please your mother” he spoke, gesturing to their plates, “so she'll make me her son-in-law and there you are, having eyes for another man. You’re supposed to only have eyes for me.”

She gave a smug smile, “You’ve gotten old, I need new.”

He frowned, “Old is stable.”

“A little shake here and there won’t hurt.”

“Joan, you’re testing me.”

“What’s your limit?”

“Any new information?” Victor asked Andrew who just entered in from the garage. Andrew shook his head, inserting a gun into his belt.

“He’s tough.”

Victor stood up, shutting the book he had been writing on before Andrew came in.

“I think it’s time I pay him a visit.”

Andrew shrugged, “Do as you wish.”

“Joan was taken into a station today.” Andrew said and Victor stopped on his way out, surprise etched in his face.

“Why?” He asked.
