Chapter 106

After spending the entire day with Sam's new friend, Nera finally said her goodbyes and carried Sam, who was dozing and exhausted from playing and running around with his new friend.

The two women set up another playing date, and this time it was going to be at Nera's house.

She knew Marcus was not going to be happy with the date but she did not care. She planned to rub the play date on his face. She had decided to focus on her son and her son only.

It was refreshing to spend a day with a fellow mother and exchange notes. Chad's mother, Brooke, was a fourth-time mother, and Chad was the smallest. So she had a lot of experience raising children.

They also talked about marriage life, and there were a lot of things that Nera could relate to. They were both married to much older men, though with Brooke it was just a ten-year difference, but there were also some conflicting differences in the way they thought.

Brooke escorted her to the car and thanked her for the lovely day.
